Palmers Green

Full width rear extension to a terraced home in Palmers Green, North London. The existing house plan had a very small separated kitchen, making cooking or any activity in the Kitchen a single person activity. The proposal opened up the whole of the ground floor, and added a rear full width extension in matching white render, and striking zinc standing seam roof. An extended rear terrace seating area is accessed from the large sliding doors. A frameless corner window completes the rear elevation. The new layout created an open plan Kitchen Dining Room, with multi use Family area in the form of a bench seat in the corner bay window, as well as a new opening into the front Living Room. The dramatic change provided a modern, functional space for the family (and Pets!) to live and entertain.
